The Christensen Arms Traverse 28 is a premium lightweight hunting rifle designed for hunters and shooters who demand accuracy, durability, and reduced weight without sacrificing performance. This rifle is chambered in 28 Nosler, a high-performance magnum cartridge known for its flat trajectory and excellent long-range capability.

This particular rifle is new and has never been fired by its present owner. The present owner was going to build it out for a upcoming hunting trip in Colorado. The hunt was cancelled. It features a Christensen Arms carbon-fiber-wrapped barrel, carbon-fiber composite Monte-Carlo stock, TriggerTech trigger, precision-machined receiver, and removable stainless-steel side-baffle muzzle brake.

Barrel & Muzzle

The Traverse 28 utilizes a 26″ 416R stainless-steel barrel with an Aerograde carbon-fiber wrap. The barrel is button rifled, features a match chamber, and is free floating to promote consistent accuracy. The muzzle is equipped with a removable stainless-steel side-baffle muzzle brake. The standard thread pitch is 5/8×24.

Action & Trigger

The Christensen Arms precision-machined receiver provides a solid foundation for the rifle’s long-range performance. The action features an M16-style extractor, dual ejectors for magnum calibers, improved bolt release, enlarged ejection port, and a spiral-fluted bolt with a fluted bolt knob.

A TriggerTech trigger provides a crisp, consistent trigger pull. The receiver is fitted with a 0-MOA Picatinny scope rail, providing a straightforward platform for mounting your preferred optic.

Magazine & Capacity

The rifle uses an internal magazine with a hinged floor plate and has a capacity of 3 rounds in the 28 Nosler configuration. The action is also compatible with AICS-pattern detachable magazines when used with an appropriate aftermarket conversion kit.

Carbon-Fiber Composite Stock

The Christensen Arms carbon-fiber composite stock features a Monte-Carlo design, raised comb, full palm swell, and modified beavertail forearm. A forward-mounted 4-inch Picatinny rail with sling point provides additional accessory and sling-mounting capability.

The stock incorporates stainless-steel pillars, spot bedding, and a recoil pad for a stable and comfortable shooting platform.

The rifle also features a Cerakote-treated action, providing additional protection against wear and the elements.
